PCB (Poly Chlorinated Byphnile) Treatment Plant Our PCB decontamination process destroys the toxic nature of the PCB molecule, leaving a non-toxic, sodium salt type waste.

This can be further separated from the oil and water to allow the oil to be re-processed to meet international standards of new oil (IEC 296, BS 148).

In most cases, waste disposal companies discard PCB contaminated transformer oil into either landfill sites or incineration.

This destroys thousands of litres of good oil only to discard few litres of PCB.

With incineration there is a problem that unscrupulous incineration facilities fail to achieve the required temperature or residence time, to prevent the release of dioxins (which is 500 times more toxic than PCBs).

This creates a far greater threat to man and environment. Contrary to this, our PCB decontamination process not only optimises the use of resources but is also environment friendly.
